Backgrounds

Your backgrounds represent what you were doing before you decided to become an adventurer. They provide some starting coin, equipment, and a little detail on how your character has lived to this point.

If you are a young adult, roll once on the background table according to your origin.
If you are middle-aged, pick twice on the background table according to your origin.
If you are old, pick three times on the background table according to your origin.
